Welcome to our online store! We're dedicated to design and craft and passionate about creating high-quality, natural fiber home decor that's both stylish and sustainable.

Our founder, Jody Smith is a scientist, with a graduate degree in optical physics. She spent her career working on challenging satellite imaging problems for a National Lab. She used those skills to create techniques that create artwork from handwriting samples. 

In 2015 she came upon a note from her Mother who had been gone for almost 20 years. For Christmas she made pillows with the handwriting for each of her siblings, and after the tears were dried, everyone knew this was something special that should be shared with more families. 

Janny Downey, with a graduate degree in fashion design joined her sister to create even more products, styles and designs. She's worked with some of the world's top fashion houses, honing her skills and developing her unique vision for sustainable fashion. 

Makers of the original hand writing pillows, our work has been copied but never duplicated. Our process is not photographic, that's why we can get extraordinary results with less than perfect specimens. Serendipity continued to influence us as we expanded our line with more personalized products. 

At our studio in Portland, we use only the highest quality natural fibers, like organic cotton, linen, and wool, to create our products. Each piece is carefully designed and crafted by hand, ensuring that it meets our exacting standards for quality and style.

We're committed to sustainability and ethical production, which is why we work with American suppliers wherever possible to minimize our environmental impact. We believe that home fashion should be beautiful, but it should also be responsible.
